Whonnock Lake is a beautifully set location near Maple Ridge. There’s a campground for the summer and visitors can also rent kayaks and pedal boats to explore the large body of water that is Whonnock Lake. There is a also a community centre that is just perfect for functions such as Maciej and Sarah’s wedding!
We actually started this day in the town of Maple Ridge at Dad’s and Lad’s barber shop. Maciej and his groomsmen had decided it would be a nice idea to get a professional shave on the morning of the wedding. It’s always nice to have something a little different to photograph so we were excited about this little side trip. Unfortunately things ran a little bit behind so we were quite rushed when it came to photographing the guys getting ready at home in time to head out and meet with the ladies too! Thankfully we made it and arrived at Sarah’s location with plenty of time to get what we needed and then jet off to Whonnock Lake for the ceremony.
