A change to my blog, adding photography in London Ontario
I started this blog with the full intention of keeping it all about WordPress, building traffic to website and monetizing a site. These are all things I have learned over the past many years. I wanted to share the things I learned with others so that they could accomplish the same things I have accomplished online but with less time.
Building websites, getting traffic and monetizing websites online has been a hobby of mine and now I have to add to my list of hobbies; photography. Recently I started taking the photography program at fanshawe college and have started a website to target people looking for a London Photographer. I will spend the next year and 8 months learning and developing my photography skills and might as well share some of the photography tips I learn on this blog along the way.

Over the past year or so I have spent a huge amount of time working on SEO. My knowledge of this topic has expanded far enough that I have realized I don’t have much more room for more SEO information in my head.
I have discovered many super efficient methods to build traffic to a blog or business website and will continue to do so. When I am promoting a site I now stick to a few simple methods that give me the best results. After reading many blogs from the “A-listers” and bloggers starting out I have been able to boil down the strategies into the smallest package.

Why you should start a blog
For now I will throw out the idea of making a physical product like a lawnmower or stereo. Sure someone could make money by producing those things but it sounds like a lot of work. Why? This economy seems to be a knowledge economy. In my city their are residences being built around the university and the college is expanding with new buildings. There is typically news of factories closing down meanwhile at the other end of the city millions of dollars is being spent on education. So of course if you want to be a dentist you would need a license, but what about if you want to start a business? No one has to go to school for 5 years to start a business they can just do it. Or lets say you are a plumber by trade, should a plumber limit there income to what they are paid hourly to complete a job. If the plumber starts his own business it will take some time and lots of effort to build up a clientele and penetrate a market with many competitors.

Making Useful Resources Works
I have been following Tom Ewer’s blog Leaving Work Behind for a few months. I am very interested in his blog as he openly writes about his experiences making money online.
Some online marketing gurus talk about quick and easy ways to build a website, get traffic and make money. From what I have read most of the super successful online marketers might be able to make easy money now but that is because they have invested years of time into online marketing. It comes easy to them now because they have the skills and experience, and they have developed a following.

The minute Jamie + Ian walked into the Graf Barn in Oxnard, California, they knew they found their perfect wedding location. From the one-of-a-kind antiques to the farm animals to the gorgeous barn for dinner it was an ideal spot for their wedding. Since the venue had an overall rustic feel, they played off that for their decor elements. Jamie hand crafted the wedding favors, banners, candle holders and frames amongst other details while Ian demonstrated his passion for home brewing by whipping up seven different hand crafted beer varieties! Today’s wedding is so incredibly stunning! A gorgeous couple, perfect setting, handmade details, and all captured amazingly by the talented Hugh Forte. So much loveliness that I had to split it into two parts! Erin + Parker both live in New York, but choose to get married in California near where Erin grew up. As soon as they saw photos (and then were able to visit) the Parker Ranch in Trabuco Canyon in Orange County, CA they knew it was the perfect location for them. The canopy of oak trees + white lights, the serenade of chirping birds, the backdrop of California hills – they fell in love with it! Erin + Parker both have also always loved the roaring twenties; Parker grew up with a connection to the music and dances of the era, and Erin, the dresses and hairstyles, so this style definitely had to be a part of the day, most importantly in Erin’s gorgeous vintage dress.
