While much has been said about the mortgage rule changes announced by Ministry of Finance that will effect High Ratio Mortgage insured by CMHC. Not much has been said about the OFSI rule changes. OFSI is the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OFSI) this is the branch of the government that oversees the banks and provides them with their rules and guideline.
